Beginnings

Happy New Year!!!!

The beginning of a new year makes one think of the future. What has this year ahead have installed for me?  Some may find this exciting and dazzled by the unexpected prospects ahead. Others can be anxious and possibly filled with doom and gloom. Which are you? However you view the year, is the way the year will be coloured for you. So change your thoughts about your future and breathe the energies of love and awe into 2012.

There are a number of things I do at the beginning of January to help me be ready for the year ahead. I loved to share them with you:

1. Think about what you are doing seeing the new year in. How did you spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day? What mood were you in? What did you spend your time thinking about? I firmly believe the energy of that time will be the base energy of the year ahead. So be who you want to be. Give out to life what you want to get back.
I spent my New Year's Eve with my family on top of Westminster Bridge, watching Big Ben, dancing away with a great DJ and then mesmerised with London's fireworks. A great night with my loved ones and many, many strangers. All happy and friendly. It took us two hours to get back to our hotel (normal 15 minutes). The chaos was civil and in good spirits. The New Year's Day after a late breakfast we spent a couple of hours at the new Westfield at Strathford, London. Homesickness for Sydney started creeping in. We went home mid afternoon and my husband decided to cook a late lunch for all of us. Loved it totally!

2. Discover your personal year vibration. All you do is add your birth day and birth month to the current year. For me it is 15 + 12 +2012 = 5 (freedom and change). What is your personal year vibration?

3. Sit quietly and pray, and or meditate on the year ahead. Ask what you want and the gifts needed for a successful journey. Your spiritual guides, angels or higher self will give your answers through signs or thoughts. Watch for them and be open.
Archangel Uriel come through my prayers and meditations on 2012. I find he comes into to my life when there is a need for me to accept change, helping me to transform using my inner wisdom.

4. I create a vision board. I use to make make a list of resolutions, but found that I lost interest in the list or ignored it so the intentions fizzled out. The vision board is a creative to set your intentions and desires. I place it next to my bed so I see it daily ....there is no escape.

5. I check out what outer planets are having a big influence over the coming year. Understanding the influences helps me cope with the possibilities ahead. Really it is an amazing year ahead for all. A mystical year ahead for me.
