Each of us have dreams about our lives and our life journey, but how many of us has the patience to nurture each dream and not become frustrated or disappointed that is has not happened yet? Like Donkey from Shrek or one of our kids in the car "Are we there yet?", patience is a difficult skill in the modern world. It takes time for a new dream to grow, like a seed planted in soil, needing the correct conditions to germinate into a strong shoot pushing itself to the surface of the ground. Then growing into a plant producing flowers, fruit and then seeds. Each moment of the cycle is beautiful, but is each moment appreciated? Do we dwell on the present time and see its joy, its love and its beauty?
Most of us have desire to have an ideal career. What is that? What should be our career? It is simple, no matter what job or task we do, it should be about spreading love. This sounds so simple, but it is difficult with a huge egos. We were born with natural talents. Discovering theses talents becomes easier as soon as we put love first. We are all gorgeous, amazing, fabulous and brilliant.
My favourite quote at the moment, makes me realise how much I need to learn and reprogram myself to get rid of ego and let me out......"our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us" (M Williamson). All I need to do is what I love, spread love and joy, and, find and appreciate the beauty in everyone I encounter and all I experience.
